What an Endless Summer Means to Me

A quiet moment – nothing urgent, just tea and time.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what an endless summer means to me.

Yes, I love warm weather, sunshine, and being near water… but it’s really more about the feeling of summer – a slower, more relaxed way of being.

It reminds me of childhood, when we played all day and had no real cares in the world.

Of course, that isn’t real life as an adult. That version of summer is something we mostly leave for vacations.

But what I’ve realized is that we can still create small moments of that feeling in our everyday lives.

Moments where nothing else matters.

Where nothing feels urgent.

For me, that can look like journaling, reflecting, meditating, enjoying a cup of tea, or even just quietly planning my day.

It can also be time for creativity – to craft, to explore something new, or simply to let my mind slow down and wander.

It can be as simple as reading a book… or enjoying a glass of wine on the patio with David or a friend.
